In an effort to bring the store experience online, I developed an experience that allowed the online customer to shop a true store merchandising set up. This experience allowed the customer to not only explore on the x & y axis, but into the z axis as well. The user could pan the 360 view of the room, zoom in on an item, get product details and launch {in context} any video/B roll of the photo shoot available. The UX and interaction design is based on easy navigation and simple discovery of both shown and hidden elements. Knowing that our user naturally moves the mouse around the screen, I planted some great Easter Eggs such as discoverable NYFW video, ability to pan around the digital store and the ability to add directly from the store to cart.
